The Job Role

 

We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Accounts Assistant to support our finance department. This role is crucial for maintaining the financial health and operational efficiency of our company.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with Financial Analysis and day-to-day Operations.
  • Supporting the Supply Chain Management process from a finance perspective.
  • Ensuring the accurate and timely settlement of supplier and other payments.
  • Performing daily Bank Reconciliations.
  • Managing and handling Petty Cash.
  • Assisting in the preparation of management and final accounts, including the posting of Journal Entries (JEs).
  • Methodically handling and organizing all documents related to the Accounts Department.

 

The Ideal Candidate Should Be:

 

We are seeking a talented individual who meets the following criteria:

  • Qualifications: Fully qualified in AAT or partly qualified in CIMA / CA.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar accounting or finance role.
  • Age: Ideally between 22 and 30 years of age.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent computer skills, with strong proficiency in handling spreadsheets (e.g., MS Excel).
    • A dynamic and talented professional with the ability to work independently and efficiently with minimum supervision.
  • Work Ethic: Must have the ability to work on Saturdays.

An added advantage would be:

  • Hands-on experience with Tally Accounting Package or a similar ERP system.
