1. Executive – Learning & Development | SPAR SL (Private) Limited

SPAR SL (Private) Limited is seeking a proactive and innovative Executive in Learning & Development to join our team. This role is vital for executing our digital learning strategy and enhancing employee performance across all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Digital Content Creation: Lead the development of dynamic digital training content to accelerate our digital learning strategy.

  • Program Delivery: Organize and conduct impactful training programs for employees at the Head Office, SPAR stores, and Independent Retailer (IR) locations.

  • LMS Management: Manage and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS), including e-learning initiatives and related analytics.

  • Skill Development: Support the implementation of L&D initiatives to enhance employee skills and leadership capabilities.

  • Leadership Pipeline: Manage specialized development initiatives to build strong leadership pipelines.

  • Performance Culture: Support performance management processes to foster a high-performance culture.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: A Degree in Human Resources or a recognized professional HR qualification.

  • Experience: Minimum 2+ years in Training and Development at a corporate level. Experience in retail, FMCG, or service industries is an advantage.

  • Language Skills: Working knowledge of English and Sinhala (oral and written); proficiency in Tamil is an added advantage.

  • Core Competencies: Strong content development skills, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to SPAR SL Values (Passion, Relationships, Integrity, and Loyalty).

Lotus Leaf Restaurant (Pvt) Ltd is looking for an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead our team and ensure operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily Operations: Oversee all daily restaurant activities to ensure smooth functioning.

  • Staff Management: Manage staff, create duty rosters, and monitor performance.

  • Service Standards: Ensure high standards of food quality and customer service are consistently met.

  • Customer Relations: Handle customer complaints professionally to maintain high satisfaction.

  • Financial Oversight: Monitor inventory, costs, and maintain relationships with suppliers.

  • Safety & Hygiene: Ensure all hygiene, safety, and company standards are strictly maintained.

Requirements

  • Proven Experience: Successful track record as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar leadership role.

  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Knowledge: Solid understanding of restaurant operations and cost control.

  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours as required.

  • Advantage: A qualification in Hospitality is highly preferred.
