Key Responsibilities

As a Quantity Surveyor at Crystalstone, your day-to-day duties will include:

  • Cost Estimation & Tendering: Assist in preparing accurate cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and comprehensive tender documents.

  • On-Site Measurement: Measure and value work completed on-site to facilitate progress claims and manage variations efficiently.

  • Subcontractor Management: Support the evaluation of subcontractor quotations and prepare detailed comparison sheets.

  • Financial Reporting: Assist in overall project budgeting, cost tracking, and financial reporting.

  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with project, design, and procurement teams to ensure a smooth, uninterrupted workflow.

  • Documentation: Maintain precise, up-to-date records and documentation for all QS-related activities.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • Education: B.Sc. (Hons) in Quantity Surveying or an equivalent professional qualification.

  • Experience: 0–2 years of experience in the construction industry. Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply.

  • Technical Skills: Sound working knowledge of MS Excel, AutoCAD, and specialized QS software.

  • Soft Skills: Good communication, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
