Overview
DFCC Bank PLC is hiring an Assistant Manager for Compliance Review & Assurance in its Compliance Department. Applications close on 23 October 2026 and go by email.
Duties
- Support the Compliance Assurance Plan and oversee regulatory compliance reviews
- Lead testing of regulatory requirements, CBSL directions, circulars and statutory obligations
- Monitor quality assurance functions within the Compliance Department
- Run assurance reviews of regulatory returns and statutory submissions
- Plan and oversee branch compliance reviews and thematic regulatory assessments
- Track regulatory developments and assess their impact on the Bank
- Review and validate findings, monitor remediation and escalate significant compliance issues
- Prepare management reports and guide team members on assurance methods and regulatory interpretation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in banking, finance, accounting, business administration, economics, law or a related field
- 5 to 7 years of experience in banking, compliance, audit, risk management or regulatory assurance
- Knowledge of Sri Lankan banking regulations, regulatory reporting obligations and compliance frameworks
- Demonstrated experience in compliance reviews, control testing or assurance engagements
- Strong analytical, stakeholder management, leadership, reporting and communication skills
- Professional qualifications and/or an MBA are an added advantage
