Overview
NDB Bank is hiring a Deputy Manager / Associate Manager for Transaction Banking in the Southern Region. The post assists the Head of Trade Sales, Transaction Banking, in running the Trade Finance strategy for Business Banking and SME clients. Applications close on 6 November 2026.
The job
- Drive the strategy of the allocated region in Business Banking to meet Balance Sheet and P&L targets.
- Build business plans for potential BB/SME clients, using all the Bank’s solutions and channels to grow the client’s share of wallet within acceptable risk-return criteria.
- Carry out strategies to grow fee, FX and interest based revenue on Trade Finance solutions.
- Work with Regional Managers, Branch Managers and RMs to raise Trade Finance limit utilisation and the use of Working Capital Solutions.
- Drive e-Window penetration, with a focus on transactional clients for Trade.
- Track market developments so the Bank is first to secure Trade Finance deals.
- Work with Cash Management Sales to give clients combined solutions across Transaction Banking.
Qualifications and experience
- Any equivalent Trade Finance qualification, or the IBSL Trade Diploma.
- 8 years of banking experience, including 5 years in transaction banking, trade operations or sales.
- Expert level knowledge of Trade Finance.
- Intermediate understanding of how Trade Finance links with Correspondent Banking, Cash Management and Online Banking solutions.
- Effective communication, presentation and relationship management skills.
