Overview
The Irrigation Department is filling 23 contract posts under the Post Cyclone Ditwah Recovery and Livelihood Support Project. Posts are split between the Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa regional offices.
Vacancies
- Senior Engineer (grade C): 2 posts. 1 in Anuradhapura, 1 in Polonnaruwa
- Engineer Assistant (grade E): 12 posts. 10 in Anuradhapura, 2 in Polonnaruwa
- Draughtsman (grade F): 9 posts. 6 in Anuradhapura, 3 in Polonnaruwa
Eligibility
- Sri Lankan citizen below 64 years of age
- Knowledge of English, familiarity with government regulations and computer literacy are essential
- Experience in projects funded with foreign money is counted as an added qualification
Salary
Pay for grades C to F follows Management Services Department Circular 02/2026 dated 28 March 2026. The notice does not give rupee figures. Full qualifications are on https://mwsip.lk/careers/.
