Overview

Royal Institute International Schools (RI) has taught primary and secondary students in Sri Lanka for over 50 years. It is hiring a Day Care Teacher for its Maharagama branch.

Responsibilities

  • Keep the day care room safe and friendly for children
  • Plan and run learning activities suited to each age group
  • Support the social, emotional and intellectual development of children
  • Look after children’s safety, hygiene and well-being
  • Keep parents and team members informed

Requirements

  • Interest in working with children
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, kindness and a responsible attitude
  • Childcare or early childhood education experience is an advantage
  • A qualification in Early Childhood Education is an advantage
