Key Responsibilities

As a Secretarial Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth administrative operations. Key tasks include:

  • Administrative Support: Managing correspondence, phone calls, emails, and internal coordination.

  • Documentation: Proficiency in typing and preparing letters, reports, briefs, and official documents.

  • Time Management: Managing calendars, appointments, and meetings with timely follow-ups.

  • Organization: Maintaining well-organized physical and digital filing systems.

  • Meeting Coordination: Organizing meetings, preparing agendas, and recording/distributing minutes.

Key Requirements

To be eligible for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Citizenship: Must be a citizen of Sri Lanka.

  • Education: Possess an NVQ Level 4 or equivalent qualification in secretarial practices/typing.

  • Experience: At least 01 year of experience as a secretary or typist in a reputed institution (including internship periods).

  • Age: Should be below 35 years as of the closing date of applications.

Key Competencies

  • Language and Typing proficiency in Sinhala/Tamil and English.

  • High level of Confidentiality & Integrity.

  • Strong Communication & Interpersonal skills.

  • Advanced computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, and Email).


Remuneration & Contract Details

  • Monthly Allowance: An all-inclusive monthly allowance of Rs. 55,000/-.

  • Selection Process: Shortlisted applicants will be called for an interview.

  • Appointment: On a contract basis with annual performance evaluations.
