Overview
The Postgraduate Institute of Medicine (PGIM), University of Colombo, has one vacancy for a Driver (Grade III). The post is based at the institute in Colombo 07 and pays Rs 48,005 to Rs 55,845 a month.
Salary
Rs 48,005 – 16 x 490 – 55,845 a month, effective 1 January 2025 (scale UPL 3 (III)).
Eligibility
- Pass the GCE Ordinary Level exam in 6 subjects, with at least 2 credit passes, within a maximum of two sittings
- A heavy vehicle driving licence issued by the Commissioner General of Motor Traffic
- At least 3 years of heavy vehicle driving experience after getting the licence
- Age between 18 and 45
- Sri Lankan citizen, physically and mentally fit for government service and able to serve in any part of the island, with a good character
Selection
Shortlisted applicants sit a structured interview and a practical driving test.
