Kurunegala Plantations Limited is hiring a Driver. The post is based in Kurunegala and pays on the PL 3 scale, which runs from Rs 43,280 to Rs 67,040 with increments, plus the cost of living allowance.

Salary

PL 3 – 2025: Rs 43,280 – 10 x 490 – 10 x 540 – 10 x 590 – 12 x 630 = Rs 67,040. A cost of living allowance is paid on top.

Eligibility

  • Pass the GCE Ordinary Level exam in 6 subjects at one sitting, including Sinhala, Tamil or English and Mathematics
  • At least 5 years of service as a driver in a government institution or a reputed private institution
  • A valid driving licence that covers heavy vehicles and all vehicle classes (Grade A)
  • Age between 18 and 45. Internal applicants do not face the upper age limit
  • Living in or near Kurunegala city is counted as an added qualification
