Overview
DFCC Bank PLC is hiring a Senior Banking Assistant to handle trade finance at its Pettah – Main Street branch. Applications close on 25 October 2026 and go by email.
Duties
- Handle day-to-day trade finance transactions at the branch, including Import and Export LCs, Bills for Collection, Bank Guarantees and related transactions
- Verify trade documents and check compliance with Bank policies, regulatory requirements and internal procedures
- Give trade-related support and guidance to branch customers
- Work with the Trade Finance, Operations, Credit and Compliance teams so transactions are processed on time
- Help the branch find and grow trade finance business
Qualifications and experience
- About 4 years of experience in Trade Finance or Trade Operations in a bank or financial institution
- Sound knowledge of Import and Export Trade Finance, LCs, Bills for Collection and Bank Guarantees
- Branch banking experience is an added advantage
- Customer service, communication, analytical and attention-to-detail skills
