Application fee
Applicants for Research Officer, Development Officer and Technical Officer pay Rs. 2,000. Deposit it to the Institute’s account at the People’s Bank Battaramulla branch, and attach the original deposit slip or receipt to your application. The account details are in the official notice. Applications without the original receipt are rejected.

How to apply
Download the standard application form from sugarres.lk. Send the completed form by registered post to reach the Chairman, Sugarcane Research Institute, Uda Walawe, on or before 23 November 2026. Write the post applied for on the top left of the envelope.
Employees of government departments, state corporations and statutory boards apply through their head of department. Applications that do not meet these requirements are rejected.
