Overview

Reclamation and Development Company (REDECO) is hiring a Heavy Vehicle Driver on a contract basis. The company is a subsidiary of the Sri Lanka Land Development Corporation, under the Ministry of Transport, Highways and Urban Development. The post is based at the office in Nawala, Rajagiriya.

Salary and benefits

  • Basic salary of Rs 40,834 a month as at 1 January 2026, under Management Services Department Circular 01/2025, plus the cost of living allowance
  • Approved overtime, medical allowance and annual bonus

Eligibility

  • Sat the GCE Ordinary Level exam
  • A valid heavy vehicle driving licence, held for at least 3 years with driving experience in a reputed institution
  • Experience driving tractors is counted as an added qualification
  • Age between 18 and 45
  • Sri Lankan citizen with the physical and mental fitness to work loyally and reliably
