Overview

Lanka Electricity Company (Private) Limited (LECO) is hiring a Chief Accountant at the AC Class II Grade II A level. The post is based at the head office in Colombo 03. LECO serves more than 650,000 customers with a staff of about 1,400.

Eligibility (choose one route)

Route 1: Professional membership

  • Membership of CA Sri Lanka, CIMA (UK) or ACCA (UK)
  • 4 years of experience after qualifying, at accountant level, in an organisation with more than 100 employees

Route 2: Degree plus professional progress

  • A degree in Accountancy, Finance, B.Com or Business Administration from a university approved by the University Grants Commission
  • The intermediate level of CA, CIMA or ACCA completed
  • 9 years of experience after qualifying, at managerial level in accounting or finance, in an organisation with more than 100 employees

Age

Below 45 years as at 26 October 2026.
