Overview
The Mahaweli Water Security Investment Programme, Phase 2, under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Land and Irrigation, is hiring 23 staff on a full-time contract basis. Work stations are the Project Management Unit in Colombo, and the implementation units at Madatugama and Moragahakanda.

- Quantity Surveyor (grade D): 2. 1 at Madatugama, 1 at Moragahakanda
- Draughtsman (grade F): 2. 1 at Madatugama, 1 at Moragahakanda
- Management Assistant, Accounts (MN-2): 5 at the Project Management Unit
- Management Assistant (MN-2): 14. 3 at the Project Management Unit, 5 at Madatugama, 6 at Moragahakanda
Eligibility
- Sri Lankan citizen below 64 years of age
- Knowledge of English, familiarity with government regulations and computer literacy are essential
- Experience in projects funded with foreign money is counted as an added qualification
Salary
Pay for grades D and F follows Management Services Department Circular 02/2026 dated 28 March 2026. Management Assistant posts follow Public Administration Circular 10/2025 together with that circular. The notice does not give rupee figures.
